This work took place as part of the construction of a new 11-hectare public park in Poppintree, Ballymun, North Dublin.  Bulk cut and fill totalling 150,000m3 was carried out to form various new attenuation areas, ponds and wetlands (7No. in total) over the site.  A mechanically pumped drainage system was also installed along with in situ concrete headwalls and precast concrete culverts interconnecting the various attenuation areas, with final overflow connection into the public surface water system.
