Full construction/reconstruction of 2.2km of new carriageway; 2No. roundabouts (1No. on existing N52 beside junction with M1); realignment of approach roads; overlay of existing roads; 1200mm surface water sewer, 600mm foul sewer, 400 mm dia water mains and 400mm dia rising mains; gabion edging to diverted streams; gas mains and ducted services; new paths and cycle tracks; accomodation works; public lighting; road markings and traffic signs; hard and soft landscaping. Boundary treatment included metal and timber fencing. Extensive traffic management was required on the N52 for roundabout construction/road realignment, on Marlbog Road for sewer installation, and on Mullagharlin Road for watermain installation and road reconstruction.
