This project involved the laying of 525mm diameter foul sewer line (5.5m deep in granite) and 300mm ductile iron water main in the existing carriageway (R117) along with other services. This included a section constructed by pipe jacking through a rock tunnel under an existing river bed, the system being designed and constructed by Kilwex.
