Drainage & Utilities

Kilwex has completed various drainage and utility projects for public sector, semi-state and private clients on main carrier/transmission routes as well as site develeopments.  The Company retains a core workforce of staff experienced in this work as well as its own plant and equipment for deep excavations.  These works have included:

• Working in busy urban environments;
• Drainage routes up to 10m in depth in bedrock;
• Laying pipes of up to 1350mm internal diameter;
• Multi-route duct lines for high voltage electricity cables;
• Various water main projects in various materials (ductile iron, HDPE, MOPVC, etc.) up to 800 mm diameter;
• Diversion and protection of existing live services such as gas mains, fibre optic cables, telecommunication cables on live roads;
• Headings/tunnels under existing buildings as well as tunnels and other crossings of canals and rivers.
